Name and Occupation: Jaclyn - Missionary and Life & Leadership
How did you decide to begin coaching with Lara?
I met Lara in one of the coaching classes at PCCI. She and I were in the same peer coaching group and we connected during that time and I was drawn to her passion for learning as well as health and wellness. We had many connection points and I viewed her as someone I can trust and also learn from professionally as well as someone who remains curious about situations and doesn't judge but approaches with an open mind.
In what areas of your life have you felt yourself growing and overcoming obstacles?
In health and nutrition, I have more grace for myself and also confidence with the food choices I am making that are best for nourishing the temple God has given me. I feel seen, and heard, which is a gift to a missionary mom who feels far from home most of the time.
What words of advice/encouragement would you give to someone who is on the fence about investing in coaching with Lara?
You are investing in wellness, which at first will benefit you, but as you are being benefited there is a ripple effect to those in your orbit: spouse, kids, family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and beyond.
How are you being empowered to thrive from the space that you have been stuck and cycling in?
Through weekly check ins whether by Marco Polo or Zoom, Lara is available to hear me, which is a gift to a verbal processor. Her availability and willingness to connect via Marco Polo for me as a mom and in a drastically different time zone has meant the WORLD to me.
What benefit do you see yourself experiencing from making this investment both financially and in time?
Lara invests in the coaching relationship in a way that honors God and honors His Body - she avails herself to be used by the Holy Spirit and how she intertwines health, nutrition, science, the brain, and the Trinity has been so refreshing for body, mind, and soul. She looks at and cares about the whole person, not just the part that's hurting or in need.
